NEED JESUS?
Do you know Jesus?
Fourteen years ago, when I first received Jesus, I was at rock bottom. On the outside, I had many reasons to be happy, but on the inside, I was empty. I felt worthless, unloved, unseen, and completely hopeless. Nothing the world promised could fill the void I had inside. But in the lowest moment of my life, Jesus found me. He met me right where I was — broken, lost, and desperate — and filled me with His love and joy. He gave me a reason to hope again, and because of that, I want to share that same gift of hope with as many people as I can.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to pay for our sins. His sacrifice opened the way for us to be reconciled to the Father (John 3:16).
Jesus knew us before we even knew Him. He loved us before we ever had the chance to choose Him. And because of that great love, He made a way for us to be saved from our sins and eternal separation from God. He took all our sins upon Himself, went to the cross, and died in our place. But that’s not the end of the story — He rose from the dead, and He is alive today, waiting for the moment you choose to invite Him into your life.
The world will tell you that being a good person, or doing enough good works will earn you a place in Heaven, but that’s not the truth. Jesus makes it very clear in the Bible that He is the ONLY way to the Father and to eternal life (John 14:6). He is the truth, the life, and the way.
Why do you need Jesus?
Life may be going great right now—perfect job, amazing family, the house, the car—but no matter how good things look, we all need one thing: Jesus. The ugly truth is this: we’re all sinners, and no matter how much we do, or how good we think we are, we fall short of God’s glory. Our sin separates us from Him, but the Good News is this: salvation is available to you right now.
If you’re ready to receive hope, to receive the free gift of salvation that Jesus purchased for you with His own life, then ask Him into your heart today. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made, how far you’ve fallen, or how broken you feel. Jesus loves you, and He desires a relationship with YOU! He knows your past, but He also knows your future — and His love for you is everlasting. He’s ready to welcome you right where you are. Don’t fall for the lie that you have time. Your next breath isn’t promised. Tomorrow is not a given. Ask Jesus into your heart today and experience the peace and guidance only He can give.
If you don’t know where to start, we’ve prepared a prayer for you to say below:
Dear Jesus,
I need You. I don’t want to try to live life on my own anymore. I need Your hope, Your love, and Your presence in my life. I believe You have a plan for me, a purpose that only You can reveal. I’ve tried to do it all by myself, and every time it’s left me feeling empty, lost, and broken. But today, I’m hearing the good news that You can heal all of that.
Thank You for taking my sins and all my pain to the cross. Thank You for giving Your life so that I could be free, forgiven, and made new. I can’t thank You enough for saving me. I know I’m not perfect, and I’ve made so many mistakes, but I’m so thankful that with You, I can start fresh. I want the new life You’ve promised me.
Please help me understand Your truth better and draw closer to You every day. I believe with all my heart and confess with my mouth that You are the Son of God, that You died and rose again so that I could be forgiven, set free, and have the hope of eternity with You in Heaven. I ask You to forgive me for all my sins. I’m ready to turn away from my old life and surrender my heart to You. Thank You for this new beginning with You.
I invite You into my heart today. Be my Lord and Savior. Help me to know You more and follow You every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
